Rides at a mid-height, typically with the ejection port being at the lower third of the belt slot. The gun is held securely against the wearer's side with the butt of the firearm tucked in tight. All holsters are molded and detailed for the customer's specific firearm. All belt slots are cut slightly larger than the wearer's belt to prevent excessive wear against the top and bottom edges of their gunbelt (e.g. the slots for a 1 1/2 inch belt are cut at 1 5/8 inch...large enough to slip on easily but locks down as you tighten your belt).

These holsters are specifically designed to allow a user to interchange firearms with variable slide/barrel lengths within a "firearm family" such as the 1911 (Government, Commander/Officer, and the Micro), Glock (22/23/27 and others), Springfield XD (Tactical, Service, and the subcompact), Smith & Wesson M&P series (9mm/.40 and the compact). Email with any specific questions to determine other combinations we may be able to make.

Options

Horsehide is now available for this holster. Sweat (body) shield is standard, basic color is black (optional mahogany, cordovan or natural), available for 1 1/4 inch, 1 1/2 inch, and 1 3/4 inch belts widths. Contrast stitching is available upon customer written request, otherwise all stitching matches holster as closely as possible. Trigger guard tension screw available at no additional expense. Mouthband reinforcement and trim available at additional expense.

Customer Note

"Effective Immediately, I will no longer give estimated finish dates on each order. As a one man shop I obviously cannot take new orders, finish existing orders, answer emails, and make phone calls all at the same time. Most holsters are delivered in approximately 30 days from the date of payment (no customer is charged until work has started on their holster). In some cases this may be longer...and in those cases I will contact the customer. I will continue to post the month which contains the majority of the orders currently being built. Be prepared to wait if you are emailing or calling with questions regarding a specific product. I will do my best to get back to you in a timely manner. If you are calling, or sending a "where's my holster" email, please do so only after the 30 day period has expired."
