I use only premium vegetable tanned hides from only the best suppliers. My black holsters are created from leather which is drum-dyed black at the tannery assuring a deep penetration of the dye. The various shades of brown are dyed in my shop. Due to variations in each hide which can occur before it reaches the tannery, and because of variations within the tanning process, light colored dyes will not look the same from hide-to-hide. This can also happen within the same hide as natural skin folds and insect bites vary the dye uptake. What does this mean to you? Any holster ordered in another color other than black will receive careful attention to maintaining the customer's desired dye preference. Despite this attention to detail you may find a particular holster darker, redder, or perhaps even lighter than you desired. The dye samples to be included below cannot be expected to accurately represent the final color as each computer monitor has it's own characteristics which can alter the way the sample photo looks. Each sample photo to be included will be the best effort to represent the dye used in my leather gear.
