At present we are offering a premium line of holsters which include horsehide, and also include the application of other exotic leathers or skins as trim or entire holster coverings. I am planning on alligator, crocodile, and stingray, along with the current shark skin. Please contact me if you are interested in a particular exotic. In some cases these exotics are in low supply which means that waiting periods may be increased.

SHARK

Shark has become very popular in the past several years because of its scuff and abrasion resistance, and because of its good looks. Shark trim is being offered on all holsters with the exception of pocket and slide models. Shark trim will encompass and extend from belt slot to belt slot for OWB or Mason-Dixon™ conversion holsters. The Ghost™ will have the trim extend from side to side encompassing the “arms” of the holster. All IWB holsters will have Shark trim added to the belt loops at no additional cost.

Shark skin holsters are covered under the same policy affecting horsehide availability and waiting times. Shark skins are decreasing in availability. My suppliers have adequate stock, but that may not always be the case. I will strive to have adequate stock on hand for the expected orders, and have backup suppliers for use when necessary. Delays in shark trimmed or covered holsters cannot be predicted. Delays will be communicated with the customer directly as noted above.

Because of the cost of exotic leathers and skins, holster which are trimmed in an exotic (e.g. Shark skin) are not offered with the three (3) day trial period. This policy also exists for those holsters which have the front, or front and back, covered with the exotic leather or skin. The only warranty extended for these holsters is for material and workmanship.

Complete Shark Holster

For those who want a bit more of the exotic look I am offering complete holster coverings in Shark. This provides the customer with a bit more of a unique look and sets there holster apart from all of the other “ordinary” holsters on the market. This holster is not for everyone; availability of a specific species means that prices are much higher than cowhide or even horsehide. The rugged good looks of Shark cannot be denied.

All holsters have the option of having a Shark skin trim; additionally I am offering complete holster coverings for either front of the holster, or both back and front of your holster. However, if you plan on primarily carrying IWB, this option should be carefully considered as it could be uncomfortable to some people. As such, options will be available to choose between a holster covered just in the front, or front and back.

These holsters will be entirely hand crafted from the best Shark skins available. Limited colors are available (black, brown, and mahogany). The holsters are detailed and boned just like our standard holsters giving you the ultimate in holsters. For those wanting to add a little extra quality to their Shark covered holster, an option is available to have the Shark skin applied over the top of horsehide instead of the standard cowhide.

Customer Note

"Effective Immediately, I will no longer give estimated finish dates on each order. As a one man shop I obviously cannot take new orders, finish existing orders, answer emails, and make phone calls all at the same time. Most holsters are delivered in approximately 30 days from the date of payment (no customer is charged until work has started on their holster). In some cases this may be longer...and in those cases I will contact the customer. I will continue to post the month which contains the majority of the orders currently being built. Be prepared to wait if you are emailing or calling with questions regarding a specific product. I will do my best to get back to you in a timely manner. If you are calling, or sending a "where's my holster" email, please do so only after the 30 day period has expired."
